Two Quick Reminders for the Bridesmaid

There are so many tips that I could give you as a bridesmaid to your friend on her special day (another post for another time). 😉 But today I want to give you two quick tips to remember as you walk down the isle!

1) Bouquet low & close!
As you’re walking down the isle the only thing that you’re probably thinking is, “Everyone is watching me–I better not trip!” I’ve been there and totally thought that! But as a photographer I’ve noticed that bridesmaids automatically raise their bouquet to cover their dress and even sometimes parts of their faces! So as you’re about to begin walking down the isle, think “Flowers low at my hips and close to my body!” I promise it’ll make the pictures look 100x better!

2) Don’t. Stop. Smiling!
Lots of times I see bridesmaids flash a beautiful smile but then get distracted with friends they see in the crowd (hehe or get tunnel vision–just make it to the front!) But if you’re continually smiling as you walk towards the alter it’s a guarantee I’ll catch a good shot of you! And plus, don’t we all look better when we’re smiling?

Today’s post is quick and simple, but I promise they’ll make a huge difference in the shots of you walking down the isle!!
