There is so much that I could say about Katie. But first, let me back up. When Michael and I interned with the youth in Kansas during our dating years, I had the joy of getting to know Katie. There was something sweet about her. Something that would draw complete strangers to her…something delightful. It was her persona and tender spirit. She was easy to be around and quick to offer a smile. She made me felt welcomed and a part.
When you get to know Katie, you get to know her love for dance. It’s how she expresses herself, shows her heart. But more than any of these things her love for the Lord is what stood out to me most.
