Lewis Family | Nelson-Atkins Art Museum

I first met Sandy when Michael and I were interning with the youth group in Kansas during our dating years. I don’t remember a whole lot about our first meeting, but I do remember a few things over the couple months I was there. I remember Sandy being sweet. She always seemed to have a kind word to say. I remember that she was always very stylish (well, you won’t doubt it once you see their family pictures!) Oh! And one thing I don’t remember. I don’t remember her ever NOT smiling!

Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I opened my laptop, waited a couple seconds to power up and logged into my email to find one from Sandy. She started off by saying, “Hi Lacey! I don’t know if you remember me from Covenant Chapel…” Refer back to paragraph one, sentence three four and five. Of course I remembered her! She had heard Michael and I were going to be in two for the weekend and was wondering if I had any spots still available. I’m so glad I did!!

Not only did they suggest an amazing location for their pictures, but each member of their family was dressed to the T. They were so easy to take pictures of! Naturals in front of the camera with beautiful (and handsome) smiles.

Go ahead. Meet the Lewis’, and pretty soon you won’t be able to forget them either.
