Coker Maternity | Chasing Beauty
I knew from the beginning that I would like Sara. When we emailed back and forth about a sunrise shoot, she used phrases like, “let’s chase beauty together!” (I mean come on–that might as well have come from my mouth!!!) Even after she knew that it would be 29 degrees, her spunky spirit and crave for adventure kept the momentum going! It was on.
My alarm went off. Bright and early. (I’m not gonna lie, I did get a little excited when I rolled out of bed thinking it was cold enough to wear a knit hat and my new jacket! Also sidenote: again, Sara and I were thinking alike. She showed up with her adorable knit hat as well!) It was dark when I pulled up to the lovely park the Coker’s had picked out and as I sat there with the sun beginning to rise, every minute of our lack of sleep and the lack of heat was suddenly worth it.
And then, if that wasn’t enough, Sara and Ehren pulled up. They got out of their cars and then I saw their outfits! I mean–LOVE! Sara’s hat, her scarf, Ehren’s tie and sweater. I found out Ehren was in web design (of which I had to take classes in my college years), and let me tell you–instant respect!
Their love was adorable! It was so sweet, so genuine. They told me they needed some guidance through their shoot. NO WAY! They were naturals! Sarah’s smile was beautiful–and their excitement of having their first baby radiated in their shoot! It was truly (I say from the deepest part of me) a joy to take the Coker’s pictures!!
