There’s something glorious that happens to people when the first 80 degree day hits after a long winter! People seem friendlier, the world seems like a better place! (I’d be lying if I told you the Summer bug didn’t bite me too! …I was sitting outside, birds singing, flipping through websites looking for a new bathing suit! Haha I know! I know! It’s March 16th Lacey! Get a grip!) And what day could be more perfect than this one for a photo shoot!?

The gorgeous model you see in the pictures below are none other than my amazing sister-in-law! (I married into good genes, did I not??) Gosh! Where to begin about Ash? Well let me first tell you what I’ve been sharing with just about the whole world–SHE JUST GOT ENGAGED!! (You can be darn sure there’ll be an engagement shoot gracing the blog this Summer!) Our family is getting bigger! Jonny and Ashley met at mine and Michael’s wedding!!! Can you believe it?! But I’m getting ahead of myself…I’m not going to spoil the story before their pictures! 😉

I’ve had the amazing blessing of watching Ashley mature into the most sincere, beautiful woman! She knows no stranger. There’s something confident, yet humble the way she carries herself, the way she reaches out to people around her and makes them feel valued and treasured. I’ve watched her mature into a passionate follower of the Lord. I’ve gotten to share life with her, watch her talents in Graphic Design blossom. (A lady after my own heart!) Seriously, I could go on and on!

I married into the Morefield’s. Tradition would say we’re sisters. Life shows we’re friends. On this immaculate 80 degree day–sun setting, new life seeming to burst forth around us–beauty was all around! It was undeniable. But with Ash, her beauty shone deeper, brighter. This is my sister, my friend. My beautiful, breathtaking friend! Ash, you wear Summer well!
