Sydney’s High School Senior Pictures | Case Park

I drove up to Case Park and pulled into a side street parking spot (double checking that it was okay to park there since I’ve gotten two parking tickets in the last month! Ek!) I parked the car and leaned over to grab my slate gray and brown leather camera bag. I had never met Sydney before, so didn’t quite know what to expect. I climbed out of my car and began walking towards the park.

I looked up to see Sydney waving at me, smiling. No. That’s too small a term. She was beaming! There in front of me Sydney was waving; huge, beautiful smile spread from ear to ear! I let out a little sign of relief. I was going to enjoy taking her pictures!

And that was 100% the truth! Sydney was so easy to take pictures of–willingly sitting, standing, looking, posing any way that I instructed. She had ideas (which I love!) but was eager to try new things and go to different spots! (She even walked down a hill in a dress and wedges to some weeds. Yes. Weeds. But just wait till you see the pictures—the light there was glorious! So worth it!) She was easy to talk to, laugh with (escape the strange men in do-rags with. True story. That happened!)

Sydney, I can’t wait to see what the next year brings! Where you end up and where you’ll take that big, brilliant smile of yours!

AH! Here are those “weeds.” The way they catch the light–you can’t tell me it’s not beautiful!!! (Told you it was worth it!)

This was probably my favorite spot of the whole park!!! There was a huge stone archway that overlooked downtown! Sydney, these are beautiful!!! You did amazing!!
