Paul is sincere, kind. Lindsay effervescent in joy. Together they are the most natural combination of love–tender and effortless. We met up late one afternoon. They eased right in as I began taking pictures, perfect from the beginning.
But as the night went on, as the sun sank, as the golden rays came out–something breathtaking, something astonishing happened.
Then, in the middle of a field covered with the sun’s fire glow, they stood. They danced. They kissed. As golden embers fell from the sky, two people in love soaked up the warmth. From the final beams of day and from each other. Until the last flicker, the last gleam we stood in the field.
