The City Was Alive | Besch Family

Ivy walls and rusted brick. Windows upon windows stacked one floor on top of the other. White printed tights with tiny navy hearts. Boots and plaid dresses. Deep red knit sweaters and dark wash jeans. Vests and laughter abundant.

Four young lives knit together in a way that at this time, they don’t realize. Two parents with a depth of love first for each other, and then for them. A love that has been fashioning them into who they are today.

The skies might have slept, but the city was alive. The essence of life–the essence of them. Energy. Warmth. Spirit. So with zest, and hand in hand, they walked on…

From this night, into the countless before them.
