Introducing For Heart & Home
If we could sit down together right now, hands grasped to oversized mugs filled with warm lattes (and lets be honest, mine probably has a bit too much whip cream on top) and we got to know each other face to face–there are a few things I’m certain you’d come to find out about me…
I love Jesus.
Like a whole lot!
I love my steady counterpart and fellow dreamer–my husband of five and a half years (and counting!)
I love people and might be a bit too extroverted when it comes making new friends! (Michael often shakes his head at me with that handsome smile of his in the background as I start conversations with just about anyone! Read: grocery store attendant, random lady in an isle, grandpa at a wedding, person in front of me in the airport, woman in the restroom washing hands…yes, all real life scenarios!)
I love creating a home that’s well decorated, welcoming, and well used!
I love using words to encourage. Inspire. Strengthen. Refresh, cheer and challenge others!
(And many times, those words are Someone’s with much more depth than my own).
And so, as I pondered each of these things a new section of my blog was born! Enter For Heart & Home! A series I hope you’ll find encouragement for your weary heart and inspiration in making your home a place that is not only lovely to the eyes but more, comfort for the soul. Here you’ll find practical tools in caring for others, in making a space that fills and gives back. DIY’s, recipes, Scripture, stories and I hope….new friends.
