This–their day, white chairs stood unfolded and placed in the large trimmed field.
This–their day, large blooms of white and green hung loose above their heads as they exchanged their vows.
This–their day, lace sleeves clung to her arms. And a tie his neck. Wonderful, deep, grateful tears glossed the eyes of mother and father and bride and groom.
This–their day, families became one. Forever knit to the other.
