Everything about who Michael and Tricia are and who they hope to be is founded and fixed around the person of Jesus and what He’s done in their lives. Their past, their present, their future. The life before each other and the testimony of how they came to one another. The mission of how they hope to impact the world and the gentle, kind, passionate ways they go about making sure Christ is known. Jesus is their first and their everything.
And that sweet declaration, that life anthem strung its beautiful melody throughout every detail of their wedding.
From the intentional way they crafted their ceremony–voices lifted high and full in sincere worship, to their first communion with one another, to a verbal testimony of God’s goodness in weaving their lives and hearts to the other. There was time specifically set aside for prayer as a couple and prayer with their family and limited guest count.
Every aspect, every detail, every moment they graciously pointed out, “Not us but Christ.”
So when vows were said, cake was cut, petals were thrown high in jubilation at the end of a breathtaking day–they knew, everyone knew–this was just the beginning.
