Life is this incredible journey.
This journey made up of moments and stories and feelings and memories all intertwined to create this breathtaking experience you call your own. And what I've come to find is that the dreams you imagined would take place often have a way of surprising you.
I graduated with a graphic design degree but photography captured my heart. I thought I'd meet my husband at college but instead I spotted him at my sisters wedding. I never imagined we'd adopt but now I could never imagine it any other way. I certainly didn’t think after six and a half years of infertility that I’d get to feel life inside me, but God gave me that too. And after over a decade photographing weddings, I never imagined transitioning to becoming a full time motherhood and newborn photographer, but that is yet one more sweet twist in the story that I'd never change.
stories are everything
And I've found that's why I love this job.
To tell stories.
Your incredible stories.
The here and now. The long awaited for. The not yet. To meet the people whose journey mirror mine. To encourage. To stop that moment you call your own. To piece together these images so that when you stand back, you see the beautiful woven journey you were meant to be on all along.
Life isn't always what we think.
Sometimes it's harder or filled with more joy than you think you'll be able to handle (sometimes both). But that's the story. The path. The moments you remember. The person you become along the way.
i can't wait to hear your story

I spend days seeing little hearts and cleaning little hands. I feel overwhelmed and overjoyed two boys call me mom. At the end of a day I'm exhausted and yet utterly full. Sign up to hear stories, find encouragement and be a part of this sweet community of motherhood.
