This day was theirs.
In the newness of a fresh year was the newness of what was before them. Two lives–one beautiful, lively, cheerful and the other one solid, kind, strong. Today they would become one. A perfect balance. Before the Lord and their friends they committed their best days, their worst days and every in between day to stand with and beside the other. Snow outside was fresh and white and pure. Golden light flickered through the tall pines. Their closest friends stood beside them, supporting them.
Long navy dresses and cream shawls accented the scene. Pastel roses were pinned to each groomsmen’s lapel. To the left there was a pale green building trimmed in white. Her thick dark hair was twisted just so and her delicate lace sleeves covered her arms and shoulders. He looked at her with a love words fail to describe. She was his this day–
And forever.
