I knew from the start of the year that I wanted to learn about and begin a mailing list! As I’ve begun getting into my rhythm, the realization hit me that the purpose of my newsletter is twofold.
1) Informational
The first week of every month I send out an email to those who are a part of my Insiders Newsletter! They hear about what has happened in the last month, new things that are rolling out, announcements, links to business blog posts (and even sometimes extra little gifts! Because what would be the point of being an Insider if you didn’t get something that others didn’t??) 😉 There are posts to educational blog posts from wedding planning tips to family session resources to running your small business. Aka: The first week is informational.
2) Inspirational
Half way through the month another newsletter goes out. This one is always written straight from my heart to yours. They are things that I’m learning, ways I’m growing, lessons that God is teaching me. It’s our life and story. It’s encouragement. It’s incredibly special to my heart. And it’s not written any place else.
The Insiders Newsletter has become exactly what I hope my business has become. A place to inform, make sessions smoother, educate. And a place to inspire. To encourage, to point others back to Christ.
