Her mermaid lace gown waved in and out, just like her golden hair that tumbled down except for the side piece that was pinned just so with a jeweled clip to hold it in place. Under the lattice garden cottage they watered the tree they would soon plant in their own yard as a symbol of growth and commitment and love.
And as the officiant pronounced them man and wife, as they kissed in sweet celebration, as they drove off together in the back of a classic car….they were now–finally, forever–man and wife.
