To make sure I serve my clients to the fullest as well as be diligent to block out quality time with my own family, I only take a handful of clients per month. But good news! You’ve filled out the questionnaire, signed the contract and paid the booking fee which means your due date is now reserved on my calendar which makes us official and I can’t wait!!!

It doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone that babies come when they want. So…now what?

First, I tell my expecting parents to send me an email or text once your little one has made their entrance into the world and your arms! From there we’ll take a look at the calendar and get your official session date scheduled. For the sleepiest, snuggliest newborn photos I recommend the session taking place within the first two weeks of birth.

Next, we’ll chat through where you’re envisioning having your session take place. Whether that be an in home session, studio session or (weather dependent) outdoor session we’ll get the location chosen and figure out the details. For example, if you’re leaning towards an in home session I’ll have you text me a few photos of your home at the time your session will take place to give me a better idea for lighting. If you’re considering an outdoor location (these can be incredibly breathtaking and make your session so unique!) we’ll think through the season, sunrise and sunset time and find a spot where nature is truly showing off!

I love newborns! I love the joy in their arrival, the unexpected depth of love that multiplies a family. I love the details, the slowing down and savoring. And I can’t wait to be a part of it all with you!
