When long awaited becomes a reality there’s a sweetness, a gratitude that overwhelms and overflows. Seeing both what you have and what’s to come, the new life inside of you and the two lives beside you. Your heart can hardly take it.
The week of their shoot rain fell hard and steady every day. Gray skies with no promise of ending. But one night, their night, it stopped. The streams broke, the sky opens and sunlight fell and glittered over the fields.
Light, life, after rain.
And blessing grew.
