Incredible how time can change lives in such a spectacularly short, beautiful way. How like that, they were a family. Like that, their world seemed wrapped up and held within ten small fingers and toes. How little brown eyes held hope and looked to them for food, for life, for love. And they gave it to him.
And as winter passed on and Spring began her beautiful, quiet entrance she seemed to welcome the three of them. With soft blossoms and arms that reached high and wide around and above them.
