Brooke | Noonday Collection

Portrait

Time. Months. Years. Forward & back.

Time is a funny thing. The way the Lord weaves lives together. At the time, you don’t know the gravity of what is happening or how it will impact your future. Or the people around you.

Brooke and I went to college together in Lynchburg, Virginia. Yes–Virginia! (I know, how did our two paths wind around, criss cross, and finally both end back up in Saint Louis? We’ll get there). Brooke and I shared the same major at Liberty University. Graphic Design. (Creative souls unite!) She was always smiles. Didn’t matter the day, the time of the class, the amount of homework that was loaded up on us. She carried with her a sweet spirit. Everyone she met was a friend. What else do I remember? Brooke was always…yes, always stylish! I don’t think she had a “lets just throw this outfit together” kind of day.

Anyways, we graduated (hurray!) and went on with our paths. Mine, back to Colorado to get married, then loading up our Uhaul and driving cross country from the mountains, to Kansas, to Saint Louis where we settled into our first apartment as Michael started his Masters. Brooke’s journey from Virginia (where she married her sweetheart) then off to Saint Louis. So here we are. Same city.

After years, we ended up 15 minutes from each other! We talked briefly on Facebook (where we worked, what our hubby’s were doing, what we had been up to since college), but one of the things that caught my attention were the stunning pieces of jewelry Brooke kept posting to her wall. Unique, stylish, gorgeous! There were necklaces, bracelets (and yes, even my weakness) scarves! If I could buy anything I wanted–the above mentioned items would all be included! Finally I asked her where she kept getting those spectacular accessories—her answer. Noonday Collection. (http://www.noondaycollection.com/)

If I’ve ever seen a woman with a passion, it’s Brooke about Noonday.

“We are a business that uses fashion to create meaningful opportunities around the world.
I am so passionate about empowering women and helping the vulnerable through fashion and design —  I love seeing how Noonday also creates confidence in my friends and family & it’s a beautiful thing watching others shine. Through wearing the jewelry and purchasing Noonday, we empower women, keep children in school and help break the cycle of poverty in their communities!”

Her eyes come alive when she talks about it. How selling this jewelry is changing lives of women around the world. All the pieces are hand crafted by artisans throughout the globe. Purchases by you and me create these opportunities! Did I peek your interest even a little!? Please, please check it out!!! brookevangron.noondaycollection.com If you’re interested or want to contact Brooke–she loves making new friends! Email her at: brookevg.noonday@gmail.com

I don’t know any better way to end than with Brooke’s own words…

“To know that we are creating a flourishing world right here in our city is pretty powerful. And, we get to look stylish while doing it!”
