A Little Secret… | Jake + Ashley
I LOVE SURPRISES!
I love being on the receiving end of surprises and on the giving end! I just love them! I love them so incredibly much!!!! So when I got an email telling me that a past Lacey Rene Studios couple (and an especially sweet one at that) was expecting their first little one and asked me to be a part of the reveal–you can imagine my excitement!!!!! This-this is one of the thousands of reasons why I LOVE my job!!!
I get to walk through some of the most beautiful, most lovely, most unforgettable moments of peoples lives!! From the time we took engagement pictures in the early morning sun, with wet Spring dew, Ashley’s black and white striped dress and Jake’s eyes only for his bride to be. The smell was fresh, the laughter was frequent, the light was warm. Then their wedding day. Wheat fields and floral crowns and twinkle lights. First dances, light rain and sparkler exits.
And then this. This next season. This incredible blessing. This child. And oh what a gorgeous little one it will be! And they asked me to be a part of it all!!! Ashley and Jake, thank you for letting me in on your secret, in on your lives!! I cannot wait to meet baby Carlsen!!!
P.S Can everyone just scroll back up again and look at what a gorgeous mom Ashley is going to be!?? I mean, SERIOUSLY!!!
